Original 1882 etching in brown/black ink on Holland laid paper by James Jacques Tissot. 2nd state. Plate 5 from the 1884 book Renee Mauperin, titled Denoisel and Henri Mauperin’s Rooms in the rue Taitbout as Boisjorand de Villacourt Enters to Challenge Him to a Duel. Signed in the plate “J J Tissot” lower left. Stamp signed in red with the artist’s red monogram lower right of image.
