Original lithograph poster printed in colors on wove paper. Lifetime impression by Jules Cheret; printed as a supplement to the Courrier Francais. Titled Palais de Glace, the poster advertises a skating rink called Palais de Glace (the Ice Palace). Published in 1896 by Jules Chéret and printed at Impremiere Chaix (Atelier Chéret), Paris. (There is also a 4-foot high – 124 cm – version of this poster.) Signed in the plate “J Cheret” center left of the woman’s ribbon waistband.
