Authentic signed, numbered examination proof by Thomas Kinkade, titled First Snow. The piece portrays a rural road after the first seasonal fall snow. Examination proofs (designated E/P with a number) were produced in low numbers and sent to select galleries in advance of a large edition release. Published in 2005, this is E/P 33 of 300. The brass plate on the front liner reads “Archive Collection II”. In addition to its rarity, the image was highlighted in 2005 by a Kinkade Studio Master Highlighter during an event at the Kinkade Gallery where the piece was purchased. (Mostly the leaves were highlighted with paint.)
Canvas measures 24 inches H x 18 inches W (61.0 cm x 45.7 cm). Framed in a brown burlwood frame with ecru liner and gold fillet, this edition is about as rare as you can get. Frame size is 34-1/2 inches H x 28-1/2 inches W (87.6 cm x 72.4 cm).
