Original etching and aquatint by Raoul Dufy, printed in black ink on thick wove white paper, with hand applied watercolor. Titled Bather, the work shows a nude woman lying on the beach sunbathing. Butterflies flit overhead and ships slowly sail by. Blue watercolor has been applied to the water around the bather with orange watercolor applied to the woman. Signed in the plate lower right. This is from an earlier posthumous edition, before the texture created by the aquatint was worn off the plate. (Recent editions lack this detail.)
