Original lithograph in black ink on beige wove paper by Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Titled Marie-Louise Marsy. Only state. Plate created 1898; impression from before 1906. Signed in the plate with Lautrec’s monogram (Lugt 1338) upper right. According to Wittrock, Toulouse-Lautrec: The Complete Prints, the plate for this lithograph was developed in 1898 for a portfolio titled Portraits d’Acteurs and d’Actrices: Treize Lithographs. The portfolio was not published until after Lautrec died. This impression was printed before 1906 for the edition of 400. Total edition size (1906 and 1913 printings) is 440.
