Original drypoint etching with hand-applied watercolor by Mary Cassatt on white laid paper. Titled Margot Wearing a Bonnet No. 1. A fine impression of Breeskin’s only state. Printed from Mary Cassatt’s ca. 1902 plate. Presumed posthumous impression. An intimate scene capturing Margot Lefebvre, who was a common subject of Cassatt’s at the time, often with her mother Reine Lefebvre. Catalog raisonne reference:  Breeskin, 179.
